Creating Awesome is in the Air! - EFK Group

Creating Awesome is in the Air!

It’s been an exciting couple of months for EFK Group and our CEO Eleanor Kubacki!

The first week of March we were awarded a GOLD ADDY! The Philadelphia Ad Club hosted the local ADDY Awards, and our “Prince: I AM” Print Campaign was chosen out of hundreds of applicants as the best! Because we won Gold in our local ADDY Awards ceremony we are automatically placed into the national competition, The American Advertising Awards on May 31st, in Boca Raton, Florida. The best of the advertising world will be coming out to compete, and we are ready to stand amongst them.

Our celebrated Prince: I AM campaign focused on the relationship and strength of the connection between the player and their product. Every tennis player has a unique style, strategy, and skill set – we wanted to evoke a feeling with players on every level. No matter how they played, our I AM Campaign helps players of all skill-sets discover their perfect fit.

We are really proud of our continuing relationship with Prince Tennis. We take pride in helping bring the iconic tennis company back to the forefront of the industry. By attracting younger audiences & continuing to engage devoted fans we were able to position Prince as a forward thinking ever-evolving brand.

But that wasn’t all we had to celebrate! Our own CEO, Eleanor was selected as a Top 50 Women in Business by NJBiz Magazine! It was truly inspiring to see 50 strong, intelligent women coming together to be celebrated for their professional achievements. The event was held at The Palace at Somerset Park, a beautiful venue filled with light and plenty of flowers.

The Top 50 Women were chosen by an independent judging panel, using a point system, they rated each nominee on three categories: professional accomplishments (including level of achievement in their own industry), community involvement, and advocacy for women within their company, industry and region. Before the event, each woman offered insight into how she handled business, what inspires her, and what she considered professional or passé.

Eleanor gave advice on when it is appropriate to text in business; “When the client texts you, you should always text back.” She also spoke of her role model and inspiration, her mother; “She was a trailblazer with a heart of gold. She was one of the first women in our family to have a career and, by doing so, she opened many doors of opportunity for future generations of working women.”

Eleanor’s true passion for advertising began as a Rutgers University student, where she created RU for the Homeless, a student run organization, offering support for the homeless community of New Jersey. One of her first ventures was creating a shocking and inspirational print campaign for the organization to gather support from her University peers. Her campaign planted the seed for Eleanor’s creative future in advertising, while continuing to help those less fortunate.

EFK Group has been growing and evolving for over 18 years, and we are grateful for every opportunity. It’s always great to be recognized for our hard work, but at EFK, we are always looking ahead, refining our skillset, and being the best we can. We are certainly enjoying the exciting adventures our company is having. Stay tuned for even more exciting news from us including the launch of our new website!
